Dixieland Pottery is owned and operated by Randy and Sherry James. They are native to the surrounding area and have pottery heritage in the family from years gone by. Randy and Sherry revitalized pottery making in 1988, and would like to make their contribution to the pottery history of Seagrove by offering new evolutions in the design of functional and decorative stoneware. These pieces are highly crafted to capture the true natural beauty of the clay and glaze.
We offer functional dinnerware sets, serving pieces, face jugs, different color glazes that are lead free, and various other designs. All pieces are gas flame fired from 2100 degrees to 2300 degrees for durability.
So if you would like a friendly welcome and a stress free atmosphere, come see us. You can also enjoy the scenic view of the area for which we named our pottery, and find out why we were one of Roy's Folks on Fox 8.
